Our facility offers a comprehensive range of radiology services. We provide 24-hour X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services as required. Referrals from primary care physicians are accepted, yearly Mammograms do not necessitate a referral.

Screenings vs Diagnostic Mammograms

Screening mammograms are done for the following:

  • First time and routine testing
  • No personal history of breast cancer
  • No breast surgeries within the past two years
  • Fibrocystic disease unless patient or physician has found new lumps
  • Must have one negative mammogram report before returning as a screen
  • No lumps or areas of thickness
  • Recommended for 35 years of age or older
  • Implants if no problems
  • Generalized breast pain

Diagnostic Mammogram must be ordered by a physician for the following:

  • Having problems
  • Focal pain, lumps or thickness
  • Problem with breast implants
  • Fibrocystic disease if patient or physician has found new lump
